My name is Isaiah C. Baclaan, and with utmost sincerity, I am seeking to represent the cherished communities of District 42 Ewa, Kapolei, and Hoʻopili. Born and raised in a humble household within a loving Filipino Family, I have always strived to take the rich values instilled in me to be an advocate for the community and rise to the call of service.
As your aspiring State Representative, my commitment lies in prioritizing our communities interests over divisive identity politics, ensuring that the voices of District 42 are heard in the critical decisions shaping Hawaii’s laws and policies. I pledge to lend a compassionate ear to all constituents and to unify our community towards a singular goal - the enhancement of our District for both my family and yours!

My Vision
I will work as a uniting force to prioritize the key issues important to you at the Hawaii State Capitol. I bring a genuine love for this community as someone who grew up in the District having been a resident for over 20 Years. My time in Ewa I cherish, from a young keiki making trouble in the neighborhood to a growing adult navigating the rigors of the real world.
Regardless of the differences in political ideals or policy stances, I promise that as YOUR Representative, I will see you as an integral part of my community. I look forward to growing a community based on compassion, reason, and the Aloha spirit, which we strive to keep close to our hearts. In times when I need to make the hard decisions, your voices will guide my vote, and in this upcoming election I humbly ask for yours!
